Down On Seven is an original hard rock band from Cromwell, Connecticut, formed on July 7, 2007 (07-07-07). Their style is a blend of hard rock with a metal, grunge and a hint of punk rock. They combine rock, thunder and riffs with melodic tunes and rhythms. Good and different backgrounds from each member built a strong performance that already made a big impact.
Down On Seven put up three songs they recorded down in Nashville TN. The songs were recorded by Vincent Todd and Gordon Hammond at the Sound Emporium studio and produced by Vincent Todd and Will Smith from Tyler Music Group. They know you will all be pleased with the new recordings and they hope you all enjoy their hard work.

Down On Seven is formed by Fiel Soares (lead vocals), Zak Hooper (lead guitar, backup vocals), Kevin Blain (bass) and Bill Taylor (drums).

They are unique and they will rock your world.

Thank you for listening to our music and we’ll see you soon!!!

Fiel Soares
Lead Vocals

He’d started enjoying music because of his mother, who was an opera singer. Ever since then his love for music has been constantly growing. The first album that he had listening to was Powerslave by Iron Maiden. The artists who influenced his career the most are: Bruce Dickinson, Robert Plant and Freddie Mercury. He became a song writer and has been working on originals for the last five years.
Fiel enjoys working with great people and excellent musicians. He found everything he was looking for in Down On Seven.

“When I’m on the stage, I’m music.”
“Thank you Down On Seven, for everything.”

Zak Hooper
Lead Guitar, Backup Vocals

Zak has always had a love of music. When he was 15, he bought his first guitar and it has ruled him since. His biggest influences are Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Slash, & Jerry Cantrell. He has studied every style of guitar that he can think of, including classical. "Music has always been my first love, and, to be honest, I can't live without it. When I'm on stage, it's like sex to me, and it's always over too soon."

Peace,

-Zak

Kevin Blain (AKA Scooter)
Bass

Scooter started playing bass at 15.  He has a unique way of creating bass lines that not only fit the song, but adding different flavor to Down On Seven's music.  His influences include Tim Commerford of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave, Les Claypool, Geddy Lee, and John Myung.  Despite his influences, Scooter's style is clearly his own.  "....."
